We as people have the opportunity to lift up the new generation of girls and women in this country, and around the world. Girls who are able to be involved in programs that infuse Science,Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics are more likely to be problem solvers and leaders in the future. These Girls who engage in this increased education are more likely to go to college, have children later, and begin to excel in technological fields. STEM programs create an interactive and fun learning environment that elevates the students engagement in education. In most tech fields women are represented by about 7-35% of the work force. On our current pace we will reach gender equality in about 170 years. Through education and mentorship every day we can help knock those years down and bring us closer to a better reality for our Daughters and Mothers. It’s not a he or she thing, it’s a WE thing.
